This is a regular flight transfer.

If the baggage is checked through to the final destination:

1. Follow the signs marked “Transfer”.
2. Find the next departure on the information screens.
3. Go to the gate shown on the screen.

If the baggage is only checked through to Oslo:

1. Go to the arrivals hall and collect your baggage.
2. Go to the departures hall.
3. Check in and drop off the baggage again.
4. Go through security and continue to the gate.

This is a regular flight transfer.

If your baggage is checked through to your final destination:

1. Follow the signs marked “Transfer.”
2. Follow the signs for international departures.
3. Go through passport control if your journey requires it.
4. Find your next departure on the information screens and go to the gate.

If your baggage is checked only to Oslo:

1. Go to the arrivals hall and collect your baggage.
2. Go to the departures hall.
3. Check in and drop off your baggage again.
4. Go through security screening.
5. Go through passport control if your journey requires it, and continue to the gate.

This is a regular flight transfer.

If your baggage is checked through to the final destination:

1. Follow the signs marked “Transfer” or “Connecting flights”.
2. You may need to go through passport control or a new security check, depending on where you are coming from and where you are going.
3. Find your next departure on the information screens and follow the signs to the gate.

If your baggage is only checked through to Oslo:

1. Follow the signs toward arrivals and passport control.
2. Collect your baggage in the baggage claim area.
3. Go through customs and continue to the departure hall.
4. Check in and drop off your baggage again.
5. Go through security screening and any passport control.

Simplified flight transfer (Domestic Transfer)
Check whether your journey qualifies for Domestic Transfer.

If you are not using Domestic Transfer:

1. Go through passport control if your journey requires it.
2. Collect checked baggage in the baggage hall.
3. Go through customs.
4. Go to the departures hall.
5. Check in your baggage and go through security screening again.
6. Check the departures board and go to the gate.

This also applies if you only have carry-on baggage.

If your baggage is checked through to your final destination:

1. Follow the signs marked “Transfer Non-Schengen” at passport control.
2. You will be directed to a new security screening before continuing to your gate.

If your baggage is only checked to Oslo:

1. Follow the signs to passport control
2. Collect your baggage in the baggage hall
3. Follow the signs to the departure hall and check your baggage in again.

Which countries are included in Schengen?

The Schengen Area consists of 29 European countries that no longer require travelers to go through border control.

1. Follow the transfer signs
   When you exit the plane, follow the signs marked “Transfer” or “Connecting flights”.
2. Go to gate D2
   At gate D2, you will find a yellow area marked “Domestic Transfer”.
3. Shop before going through customs
   If you want to shop duty-free, you must do so before going through customs.
4. Scan your boarding pass
   Scan your boarding pass at the gate and continue through customs.
5. Find the gate for your domestic flight
   After customs, you will enter the domestic departure area. Check the information screens and follow the signs to your gate.

Domestic Transfer applies to the following airline combinations:

Domestic Transfer does not apply to:

NORWEGIAN flights from:

• Bastia, Bilbao, Burgas, Dubrovnik, Ibiza, Malta, Pula, Salzburg, Sarajevo, Skopje, Split, Tirana, Tivat, Varna, Zagreb

SAS flights from:

• Dubrovnik, Pula, Salzburg, Split, Tivat

If your journey starts from one of these places:

1. Go to the arrivals hall and collect any baggage. 
2. Go through customs, and then to the departures hall.
3. Check in your baggage again.
4. Go through security screening again.

Opening hours Domestic Transfer
Domestic transfer is open from 07:00–23:00 every day.

If you arrive outside opening hours, you must go to the arrivals hall and follow the usual travel route via baggage claim, customs, the departure hall, and security screening.

Security screening opening hours
Security screening (and baggage check-in) closes after the last departure in the evening and opens around 04:00. Domestic transfer at gate D2 also closes at around 23:00, as there are no departures until the next morning.

Domestic: Gate A, B and C

International: Gate D, E and F

This means your baggage is only checked in to Oslo Airport, and you cannot use Domestic Transfer.

Pick up your baggage in the arrivals hall, go through customs, and check in the baggage again in the departures hall.

Domestic Transfer can only be used when the entire trip is booked on one continuous through ticket (i.e, your ticket shows the final destination, not the place where you change flights).

If you have separate tickets for each flight, you must collect any baggage, go through customs, and check in for the next flight. Please pay attention to boarding times. 

If you are arriving from abroad, flying onwards within Norway, and qualifying for Domestic Transfer:

• Follow the Domestic Transfer signage to your next flight. 

If you are arriving from abroad, flying onwards within Norway, but not qualifying for Domestic Transfer:

• Go through the arrivals hall and security screening again.

Ask for the items to be sealed if you are changing flights. You may have to go through a new security screening.

The receipt must be visible in the sealed bag. You are responsible for ensuring that the items comply with the rules for carry-on baggage and liquids.

You cannot use Domestic Transfer if you are traveling with animals, whether in the cabin or as checked baggage.

Go to the arrivals hall, collect the animal and any checked baggage, and go through customs. The animal and baggage must be checked in again before your next flight.

You cannot use Domestic Transfer when traveling with weapons.

Weapons and any other checked baggage must be collected in the arrival hall, cleared through customs, and checked in again before your next flight.
