Public transportation to and from Bodø Airport
Walk to the city center in 15 min
It is about one kilometer from the terminal down to the city center, a nice walk that takes about 10-15 minutes. When you exit the main entrance of the airport, continue straight ahead, cross the "main road," and go into Hernesveien which leads you straight to the center. See the map that shows the way to the center, shopping mall, and other facilities.
Train
The train station is located just northeast of the city center, about a 5-minute drive from Bodø Airport. From Bodø station, there are several local and regional trains, in addition to multiple daily departures to Trondheim.
Travel time: Approximately 5 minutes from Bodø Airport to Bodø station.
Bus
Lines 1 and 4 have a stop just to the left of the main entrance. Line 1 runs every 10 minutes in the morning and afternoon, otherwise every 15 minutes on weekdays. There is a somewhat more limited schedule on weekends. You can also take regional buses to and from the Salten area directly to/from Bodø Airport.

Express Boat
The express boat quay is located in the center of Bodø. From here, express boats regularly depart to Lofoten, Helgeland, Steigen, and Væran - Bodø's fantastic archipelago.

Ferry
The ferry dock is located just north of Bodø city center. From here, ferries regularly go to Lofoten (Moskenes), Værøy, and Røst.
