Airline responsibility

Several countries also require you to have a return ticket upon entry, and some countries may require a visa even during a layover.
You can only get emergency passports at these airports
If you discover that your passport has expired or is missing, an emergency passport may be an option. An emergency passport is a temporary document that you can apply for at the police. Please note that not all countries accept emergency passports. Emergency passports can be issued at Oslo Airport, Stavanger Airport, and Bergen Airport. For more information about emergency passports, emergency passports for children, and opening hours at the different airports, visit the police's own websites.
