Building restrictions

Building Restriction Areas (BRA) are areas around airports and navigation facilities where buildings and constructions could interfere with the signals between the planes and ground systems. In these areas, there may be restrictions on the placement and height of buildings.

If you wish to build in a BRA area, the plans must be reviewed by specialists at Avinor, who will assess whether the construction could interfere with flight signals.
