Domestic transfer

Are you coming from abroad and traveling further domestically?
May I collect my luggage at domestic transfer?

With domestic transfer, with certain airlines, you can arrive from abroad and continue flying domestically without picking up your luggage. Remember to check carefully with your airline what applies to your journey. By using our Domestic Transfer solution, only travelers with through tickets can use the solution.

If you are coming from abroad and are flying onward within Norway, there are different transfer rules based on which airline you are traveling with and the destination you are coming from.

To be able to use domestic transfer, you must have booked a ticket with Air Baltic, Air France, Atlantic Airways, Emirates, LOT Polish Airlines, Norwegian, SAS, KLM, or Widerøe.

Furthermore, your ticket must be through ticketed, meaning you and your baggage are booked all the way to your final destination in Norway.

See the checklist below for more details.

If you arrive with an airline other than Air Baltic, Air France, Atlantic Airways, Emirates, LOT Polish Airlines, Norwegian, SAS, KLM, or Widerøe and continue flying domestically, you must go to the arrivals hall, pick up and drop off any baggage, and go through the security checkpoint in the departures hall. This also applies to passengers who only travel with hand luggage.
