G-Gates

Effective management of summer traffic

In the summer of 2025, more international travelers will have to take a shuttle bus to the gate, and these new exits have been assigned the letter G. In the terminal, you will find clear signage directing you to area G in the international section of the terminal. Eight domestic gates will be used for international traffic (only destinations within Schengen) during the peak morning hours. The exits have been assigned the letter G (G1 to G8). The need is mostly limited to a short period of a couple of hours on most days. There will also be an expanded kiosk offering in this area, which is usually the B-gates on the south pier.

Shuttle Bus

This measure will result in some passengers being shuttled from the terminal building to our "new" gate area. All information boards in the terminal will show the estimated time passengers can expect from the terminal building to the exit, including both shuttle transportation and walking time.

The shuttle bus will be available already two hours before the first scheduled flight from gate area G and will run every three minutes from a dedicated "shuttle bus stop" in the terminal, marked with G. You will find this at the international bus lounge, out in the corridor to the right by Fiskeriet.

Has Your Flight Been Assigned a G-Gate?

  • Using the information boards in the terminal, you will see which exit your flight departs from. It will indicate the expected time from where you are located until you have arrived at your exit.
  • Follow the signs to G.
  • The signs will take you to the shuttle bus stop. The bus will run every three minutes.
  • The bus transports you to the G-gates. Follow the signs into the building and find your gate.
