Electric car and charging
If you drive an electric car, we have designated spots where you can charge your car.

Electric vehicle parking:
- P10: 379 spaces, Level 3, Sections 3J–3M
- P11: 348 spaces, Level 1
Mer has now taken over the existing charging facilities in P10 and P11 at Oslo Airport. This means you can now charge your vehicle using the Mer app or a charging tag at the stations. Vipps mobile payment is also available.
Fast chargers have also been installed in the short-term parking area (level 4).
Is this your first time charging at Oslo Airport?
Follow the instructions on the charger for step-by-step guidance.
If you have questions about charging, please contact Mer at +47 47 67 08 00.
Frequently asked questions about charging electric vehicles at airports:
Charging stations are installed at several of Avinor's airports in designated parking areas in accordance with the new parking regulations.
Parking spaces for electric car charging are reserved for cars that are connected to a charging station. To use a charging space, the car must be connected to the charging station and a charging session must be started.
Charging prices follow Mer's current prices at all times. See an overview of current charging prices here.: https://no.mer.eco/ladenettverk/priser
Note:
The parking fee is in addition to charging. The parking fee should be paid as you would otherwise pay for parking at the specific airport and parking area.
Charging starts and stops with a charging card from Mer, Vipps via QR code at the charging station, or in the Mer Connect app.
Preparations for the first time:
Download the Mer Connect app for free from the App Store or Google Play. Set up a user in the app if you haven’t done so already.
You can order a charging card from Mer in advance. You can do this in the Mer app or in Mer Hub, here:
https://no.mer.eco/ladenettverk/kundeportal/
You can also charge with Vipps. This does not require downloading an app or a registered customer relationship with Mer.
Insert your charging cable into the car and charger and start charging with app/tag/Vipps.
You will be charged per kWh and the power supply lasts until the car is fully charged or until charging is stopped with app/tag/Vipps.
First, remove the charging cable from the car's socket and then from the charging station.
Depending on the type of car, you may need to unlock it with the car key first.
There are also plans for fast charging stations at some of Avinor's airports.
More information about this will be provided.
