Drone map

Avinor's drone map shows where you are allowed to fly a drone. The drone map shows the no-fly zone within five kilometers around each airport where you need permission from the local air traffic service to fly a drone. The drone map also shows drone rules and contact information for all airports.

At several airports, you can use the Ninox Drone app to apply for permission to fly a drone within the airport's no-fly zone. Note that from December 8, 2025, Ninox Drone will be replaced by Avinor's own drone app Avidrone.

The air traffic service evaluates all requests for drone flights against the airport's traffic situation. By applying for permission to fly a drone within the no-fly zone, the air traffic service becomes aware of where you will fly, for how long, at what altitude, and most importantly, your contact information as the drone pilot so they can notify you if there is a need to take down the drone, for example, due to an air ambulance or rescue helicopter.
