Save time by checking in via Internet or check-in machine

Check-in via the Internet or mobile phone
Choose airline for check-in:
If you only carry hand luggage, you may proceed straight to the security check when you have checked in online or via your mobile phone.
If you have baggage to check in, you can print your baggage tag at the check-in machines and then drop your baggage off at the baggage drop counter
Check-in machines
Waiting times are shorter at the check-in machines than at the check-in counter.
If you only carry hand luggage, you may proceed straight to the security check without stopping at the check-in counter. If you have baggage to check in, you can print your baggage tag at the check-in machines and then drop your baggage off at the baggage drop counter.
Even when you travel via connecting flights, your baggage will be checked through to your final destination.
Check-in counters
Check-in can always be done at the check-in counters at the airport. You may experience longer waiting times than at the check-in machines.
Suggested arrival times
The required arrival time for passengers prior to departure varies with the different airlines. Therefore, remember to check which arrival time that applies to you. Common suggested arrival times:
- Domestic flights: at least 60 minutes prior to departure
- International flights: at least 90 minutes prior to departure
- Charter flights:at least 120 minutes prior to departure
On charter flights, check-in often closes 60 minutes prior to departure. Remember to allocate extra time during holidays and rush hour.
Choice of seat
Some airlines let you select your preferred seat when checking in via the airline’s website or at the check-in machines. Seat selection is usually available from 24 hours prior to departure.
If you do not select a seat yourself you will be assigned a seat during check-in at the airport. Certain budget airlines do not assign seats, allowing you to select a seat yourself when boarding the aircraft.
