Handling agents at the airport
What is a handling agent?
Handling agents are employed by airlines to perform all necessary services while aircraft are on the ground. The handling agents perform check-in, baggage handling, assistance and ticket registration at the gates.
In short, it is the handling agents who take care of travellers from check-in and until they are aboard the aircraft. They also assist the aircraft to and from the apron, provide them with electricity and load and unload baggage.
