Sleep well at the airport

On 10 April 2007 the Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport opened.Bergen Flesland Airport finally has its own airport hotel!The hotel is a business hotel in the Choice hotel chain and has a conference room with space for 650 people.

The interior of the hotel distinguishes itself from other international hotels through details well worth noticing.

Conference and music hotel

Separate iPod docking stations and live music in the foyer is intended to get you to ‘feel the music’.These three words also make up the names of the three conference halls that can be combined to one large hall; ‘feel’, ‘the’ and ‘music’.The meeting rooms are called ‘forward’, ‘rewind', ‘play’ and ‘repeat’.Different types of music are also played on each floor.A separate floor is dedicated to musicians from Bergen.

Spa

When you land at Flesland, you may see light in the glass construction at the top of the hotel.Here is the spa department and boardroom.

The spa offers various types of therapy at very competitive prices.The comfort department also has a jacuzzi and sauna with a panoramic view of the airport.A fruit salad and a smoothie to finish it up, and both body and mind are ready for new meetings and lectures.

Aircraft and art enthusiasts

This is a hotel for those with an eye for detail.From some of the rooms you can choose whether you want to watch TV or see aircraft taking off.You can do this while lying in the bathtub or standing in the shower.Binoculars are available in all rooms overlooking the airport.You also look straight out on the runway from the bar and the restaurant on the ground floor.In the corridor between the reception and the terminal there is art by artist trio Intravison, who also designed the Nydalen Metro station in Oslo.Pictures, sound and light provide clues as to which part of the country you are in.Art by many different artists and styles may be enjoyed all over the hotel.
